Vastu for Pooja Room

Vastu Shastra does not specify an ideal location for a Pooja Room. Are you surprised? I was surprised, too.  It made perfect sense, though. God is everywhere. Why restrict the Almighty force to a single zone spanning 22.5 degrees inside a building?

I have put together a list of ideal Pooja to be done in various locations inside your home.

Vastu for Pooja Room in North-East (NE)

NE is the ideal zone for pooja. It gives very good effects. The building gets blessed. You gain mental clarity and always get divine guidance. Ideal pooja is Panch-dev and Shiv-Parivar.

Vastu for Pooja Room in East-North-East (ENE)

ENE zone helps one to cope with stress in daily life easily. You feel fresh quickly and are recharged with energy. Ideal Pooja is Radha Krishna.

Vastu for Pooja Room in East (E)

East zone is good for politicians and bureaucrats. Pooja in the East gives favours to seniors and high command. Ideal Pooja is Ram Durbar and Laxmi Vishnu.

Vastu for Pooja Room in East-South-East (ESE)

ESE zone creates restlessness and anxiety but it gives wise investments also. Pooja is not recommended here except for stockbrokers. Ideal Pooja is Charwak-Darshan.

Vastu for Pooja Room in South East (SE)

Except puja of Ma Durga, other Poojas in South-East (SE) cause accidents and fear of losing money.

Vastu for Pooja Room in South-South-East (SSE)

Hanumanji’s pooja in SSE zone gives power, strength and confidence but other types of Pooja are not very effective here.

Vastu for Pooja Room in South (S)

For Ma Kali Pooja, South zone is best, but, for others, it is ineffective. It is an ideal zone for deep relaxed meditation.

Vastu for Pooja Room in South-South-West (SSW)

Except for Aghori type of Pooja, all other Poojas must be avoided in SSW by all means as they bring in losses. You will suffer from poor absorption of nutrients. It will lead to indigestion.

Vastu for Pooja Room in South-West (SW)

Pooja in SW slows down payment recoveries in business and hinders financial growth. The exception is the Vishwakarma Pooja which gives more skill to workers. Pitra (ancestral) Pooja is ideal in this zone.

Vastu for Pooja Room in West-South-West (WSW)

Ma Saraswati gives knowledge when worshipped in WSW zone. Other Poojas must be avoided here.

Vastu for Pooja Room in West (W)

Pooja of Guru and mother earth is ideal in West zone. It gives abundance and all financial gains. Other Poojas must be avoided in this zone. All gurus – past or those living – must be worshipped in this zone. Sikh Gurus, Jain Gurus, Sai Baba, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavira, Jesus and spiritual and religious gurus must be worshipped here.

Vastu for Pooja Room in West-North-West (WNW)

Yakshini Pooja can be performed in WNW zone. Other Poojas must be avoided here. Meditation here leads to Piles, frequent urge for passing stool, and Appendicitis.

Vastu for Pooja Room in North West (NW)

NW is ideal zone for doing Pitra (ancestral) Poojas.

Vastu for Pooja Room in North-North-West (NNW)

Sex poojas, Panch Makar Pooja and Tantrik Pooja are permissible in NNW zone. All Tantra rituals done in this zone gives power and abundance of money and the power to create the desired life. Avoid other Poojas here.

Vastu for Pooja Room in North (N)

North zone is ideal for Yaksha Sadhna, Laxmi Pooja and Ganesha Pooja. All other Poojas must be avoided here.

Vastu for Pooja Room in North-North-East (NNE)

NNE is ideal zone for Dhanwantri, pooja of the Ashwini Kumars and rivers here gives health and vitality.
